North pass is located at the mouth of the Blakeley river, south of I-10 in the top northeastern corner of Mobile Bay. Specifically, it is a large channel running off the west side of the Blakeley. This is a great area for redfish and speckled trout in the fall and early winter months. Live shrimp under popping cork, grubs/gulp fished near the bottom, or hard-bait shad imitators (crankbaits or minnowbaits) should all do well. NOTE: this place tends to muddy up after bad rain events. Please if you have any additional information about this area.
