Steele Creek Bass Fishing

Steele Creek Bass Fishing

We fished Steel Creek in Satsuma today. Had fished the dock, there at the launch on foot, several times in the past and figured it'd be some good bassin up in there. Well, we took the boat out there today and sure enough, it was some bass-dank-ness.

Jocker caught his first bass ever with a 1 pound 13 ouncer, after only 30 minutes on the water (which also ended up being the largest bass of the day).

We did good fishing spots right there close to the launch and also landed some nice fish down the river a ways in Little Catfish Bayou. It was a great day of fishing with a total catch of around 14 bass including the small ones.
