Mobile Delta Bass and Flounder

Myself, Zack, and Steve headed out from the causeway last Saturday looking for some new Bass spots, and although no lunkers were landed we succeeded in finding a good amount of decent Bass.

We started the morning out working top water and plastic (worm) baits. After landing a few smaller Bass and seeing a lot of shad activity I switched over to a crank-bait only to land more small Bass.

Later, we moved on to a long wind swept bank that was about 5 or 6 foot deep close to the bank and finally landed a couple pounders and one close to two lbs. Somewhere in between Zack managed to hook a nice sized flounder on a lizard. You never know what'll end up on your hook out there.

On the way back in we fished a few different spots (braving the ultra-wind), and spotted a few mangrove snapper, but were unable to entice them.
