Deep Cranking Dead Lake

Myself and BJ fished the final Dead Lake Bass Tournament this last Saturday. We didn't end up making the cut for the two day classic next month but, we gave it a good run (missing the first tournament in Feb).
Early in the morning we landed a couple small bass on the buzz bait and caught a white bass on a small rattle trap (a first for me). We started catching keepers on worms as the heat began to rain down.
Later during the hottest part of the day the bigger bass were caught on the deep divers along a good drop off from 7-22ft. Me and the Beeg (Dad) had a blast finishing the day with 6.34lbs in 26th place.
