White River

I know this place is all about Mobile Alabama fishing, but I couldn't resist posting a video of this fishing trip. It was awesome.

This was mine and my Dad's first experience fly fishing for rainbow and brown trout. We took a trip up to Cotter Arkansas for a family reunion and rented out a lodge on the White River (link below). Wonderful lodge and wonderful people who run it. I did a little walk through of the top floor in the early part of the video.

Our cousin Chad Johnson lives there and is a top trout fishing guide for that area (link below). So, once we arrived, he got us all squared away with the right flies, where to go, etc. It is a trip we will never forget. It was so wonderful to re-connect with family AND get to fly fish for trout for the first time, all in one go. Thanks again Chad and Tiffany for the boat trip, and for bringing over that ping pong table. :) I can't wait to get back up there and get me a big brown. Hope y'all enjoy the video.
