Fishing Report
August 3rd 2018

There's a lot of red fish being caught in the lower Blakeley river; fishing the bottom seem to be working better for this. Live shrimp on a Carolina rig works well. The better speckled trout bite is still good in the deeper structure (9ft+) areas of Mobile Bay up in the heat of the day. Be sure to check out the deeper Mobile Bay reef locations. Live shrimp on a slip cork rig works well there. Artificial gulp and shrimp imitators are working okay still, but live shrimp is almost becoming a must with these tougher conditions. Don't forget to keep an eye out for floating structure in the bay, could be a tripletail on it. Good luck, be safe out on the water and God bless.
