Fishing Report
November 2nd 2017
The fall transition is in full effect. Redfish and specks are getting well into the rivers, but are still present in summer areas: oyster flats, grass flats down towards the south end of Mobile Bay. Live shrimp under a popping cork is the winning combo wherever you are. But if you favor artificial, both paddle-tail grubs on a jig head (root beer w chartreuse tail) and imitation shrimp (DOA/VuDu) work great. In the lower mobile delta creeks, crappie fishing is lights-out right now as well (treetops/underwater structure in 6ft of water) silver/white crappie jigs.
