There's strong outgoing tide both Saturday and Sunday for the weekend fishing. Recent heavy rain has few areas messed up, but for the most part you should have no problem finding good water to fish. The main rivers off mid/lower Mobile Bay: Dog river, Fowl river and Fish river are all going strong with specks and reds. Early morning topwater is still good. After that, jigs (gulp), shrimp imitations (VuDu Shrimp) or minnow hardbaits (crankbaits/rapalas) should work well.
