Happy new year everyone. Man, it has been epic cold! Steady good reports of good specks being caught in the delta and up in the rivers. Since they're all bunched up, its just a matter of finding them. Once you do, you can load up. Many are trolling or drifting baits along the bottom. White or new-penny Gulp shrimp are working well. A Zoom "The Fluke" on a jig head can work great as well. Fowl river and dog river are producing high numbers but smaller size. If you're looking for biguns, you're probably better off in Theodore industrial canal or the delta.
